It sounds like The Rolling Stones plan to keep releasing records beyond last month’s “Hackney Diamonds.”

Keith Richards told SiriusXM NPR the band has “plenty more stuff left over”, adding “There’ll always be another one until we drop”.

“We can put our feet up for a little bit, but you know.” Richards continued, “You’re into this thing all the way. This is what we do. We’ve gotta see this Rolling Stones through.”

“Hackney Diamonds” was the band’s first new album since 2005, and their first since the death of drummer Charlie Watts in 2021 – though Watts does appear on the record.

Hackney Diamonds” debuted at no. 3 on the Billboard 200 album chart. With the no. 3 debut, the iconic band now has a top 10 album on the Billboard 200 chart in every decade since the 1960s.

In addition to the no. 3 spot, The Rolling Stones are the first band in Britain to gross a billion dollars.

Ahead of the album’s release, the band released “Angry,” the first single off their new album, and “Sweet Sounds of Heaven,” which features Stevie Wonder and Lady Gaga.

Then, to celebrate the album’s release, the band held a surprise performance with Lady Gaga at the Racket NYC.
