The 49ers came off their bye week with reinforcements.
While it seemed closer to unlikely than likely that Trent Williams would play — with Kyle Shanahan calling him “real questionable” — Williams (ankle) is active for Sunday’s game in Jacksonville.
So, too, is Deebo Samuel, who recovered from a hairline fracture in his shoulder over the bye week. Javon Hargrave, who came up with a knee injury and was listed as questionable, is also active.
It’s a massive boon for the 49ers, though they will be without Aaron Banks (turf toe), meaning their well-paid backup interior lineman, Jon Feliciano, will start. He will be in the mix and potentially start over Spencer Burford when Banks returns.
For Jacksonville, it’s a shorter list of inactives, with veteran receiver Zay Jones the most notable absence.
The 49ers’ health boon bodes well as they seek to end a three-game skid.
