Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan once received a special gift from a heavy metal legend.
McKagan was one of just a handful of people given a bullet containing the ashes of late Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister.
On his podcast Three Chords & The Truth, McKagan called himself “an honorary Motorhead member.” Other famous rockers who received Lemmy’s ashes include Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford and Hanoi Rocks singer Michael Monroe.
Lemmy died Dec. 28th, 2015 at the age of 70.
