Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton is celebrating a special anniversary today – 5 years of sobriety.

Morton marked the occasion on social media, with some words of encouragement: “If you’re reading this & struggling with addiction, please know that recovery IS possible for you.  It’s so worth it… I promise.”

His message drew congratulations from some of his peers, including Alice Cooper, Nita Strauss, and All That Remains frontman Phil Labonte.
