A month before he was expected to kick off a solo tour of North America, Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has pulled the plug on the trek.
“It is with a heavy heart that I announce the cancellation of my upcoming North American tour,” Taylor announced on Friday. “For the past several months my mental and physical health have been breaking down, and I reached a place that was unhealthy for my family and I.” Taylor, who did not elaborate on his health issues, went on to say full refunds are being offered to ticketholders.
Taylor’s tour, to support his album CMF2, was due to kick off in Toronto on February 3rd and stop in a total of 20 cities by the time it wrapped up in Omaha on March 3rd.
