Tesla’s Jeff Keith Reveals His Biggest Inspiration

Tesla’s Jeff Keith says he was inspired to make music by a singer he saw at his very first concert: late AC/DC frontman Bon Scott.

“My first concert was ‘Day On The Green’ number three at the Oakland Coliseum in 1978,” Keith recalls. “I was 19 years old. When Bon Scott took that stage in jeans and tennis shoes and rocked that mic, that has to be my ultimately biggest inspiration. And every night I step on stage, I just go, ‘Bon Scott.'”

Keith is currently preparing to front a series of Tesla shows at the House of Blues in Las Vegas. The band is scheduled to perform on April 5th, 6th, 10th, 12th and 13th.
