Def Leppard’s ‘Hysteria’ Tour Drum Kit Up For Sale

YouTube, @Def Leppard.

A piece of rock history is currently for sale – the drum kit used on Def Leppard’s 1987 Hysteria tour.

The specially-made set marks a special moment in Def Leppard’s history – drummer Rick Allen’s return to the stage after losing his arm in a car accident three years earlier.

The set was designed for Allen to play using his left foot to trigger the sounds he would have used his left hand to play – something that took years of practice to perfect.

The kit is currently for sale at Reverb.com for the low, low price of $31,000.
