Playing one of your albums in full on tour is all the rage these days – but Green Day are taking it up another notch.
The band will perform TWO albums – 1994’s Dookie and 2004’s American Idiot – on every stop of their upcoming stadium tour, marking the records’ 30th and 20th anniversaries, respectively.
Bassist Mike Dirnt says they’re still working out the arrangements but expect to have “35 to 45 minutes” left for other songs, including tracks from their new album Saviors.
The tour kicks off July 29th in Washington D.C. with Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and The Linda Lindas – and will make a stop at Oracle Park in San Francisco on on September 20, 2024. Tickets are available here.
