Green Day did an impromptu show this week.
The band popped up in a New York subway station with Jimmy Fallon in the effort to draw attention to Green Day’s upcoming album and supporting tour.
Fallon and the band wore costumes at first before eventually launching into acoustic versions of “Basket Case,” “American Idiot” and a single off their new album, “Look Ma, No Brains.”
Green Day is releasing their new album “Saviors” on Friday.
