Paul Stanley isn’t sweating the backlash he’s hearing about the new KISS digital avatars.
He told Ultimate Classic Rock that fans “got the wrong impression” after the avatars were unveiled at the band’s farewell show at Madison Square Garden.
He says the band is not being “replaced by flying avatars. It’s just another way of diversifying what KISS is.”
The avatars are being developed by the company behind the wildly successful ABBA hologram show. KISS has said they won’t be ready until 2027 at the earliest.
