Multiple people were shot in Kansas City, Missouri, following a parade and rally celebrating the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory, according to police.
The shooting occurred near the garage west of Union Station as fans were leaving. Two armed individuals have been detained by Kansas City police. Authorities expected about 1 million people at the celebration, with 600 law enforcement officials present.
Efforts are underway to evacuate individuals from Union Station for their safety and to expedite treatment for the shooting victims.
