Mick Mars says it would be “impossible” for him to get together with his Mötley Crüe bandmates and resolve their differences without getting attorneys involved.
In a new interview, the guitarist added that he had to be careful when discussing his dispute with the band publicly due to the ongoing litigation.
He explained, “I don’t have a gag order, but it’s like anything you say can and will be used against you. I have to be pretty cautious about what I say because it could be relevant to what’s going on.”
When Mars announced his retirement from touring with the group, he maintained that he would remain a member of the band.
In a lawsuit against the band filed last year, Mars alleges his bandmates tried to remove him as a significant stakeholder in the group’s corporation and business holdings.
