Don Henley Takes The Stand In Trial Over Stolen ‘Hotel California’ Lyrics

YouTube, @The Eagles.

The Eagles’ Don Henley was in court Monday, taking the stand in a trial centered around the lyrics to “Hotel California”.

Henley has sued a group of men who tried to sell pages of Henley’s handwritten lyrics – which Henley says were stolen and rightfully belong to him.

During his testimony, Henley recalled his 1980 arrest after authorities found drugs and an underage sex worker at his L.A. home.  Henley called it “a poor decision which I regret to this day.”
