Trivium Says Next Album Will Be Inspired By ‘Ascendancy’

Trivium will be looking to the past for inspiration for its next album.

With the band marking the 20th anniversary of 2005’s Ascendancy next year, frontman Matt Heafy says the band will be “getting back in the headspace of Ascendancy” as it writes new music.

Last week, Trivium announced a joint tour with Bullet For My Valentine where they’ll perform Ascendancy while BFMV performs The Poison.
