A video of Dave Grohl rocking out while watching a U2 concert over the weekend is circulating.
The Foo Fighters frontman was seen thoroughly enjoying himself as he watched the band’s final residency gig at the Las Vegas Sphere on Saturday night, throwing his arms around and dancing wildly in the grandstands.
In the short clip, Grohl can be seen swaying and fist-pumping while clutching a beverage as U2 performed their hit song Beautiful Day.
Grohl wasn’t the only A-lister in attendance at U2’s final Sphere gig on Saturday, March 2, with music icon Brian Eno and First Lady Jill Biden also reportedly watching from the audience.
The final song of the setlist was a throwback to how U2 used to close shows: “40” from their 1983 studio album ‘War.’
Bono told the crowd, “It’s been 40 days and 40 nights in the desert. What’s a fellow with a messianic complex going to do? Here’s a song we wrote in 40 minutes. I opened up the sacred text of the Psalm of David. I just kind of read it out. That was the lyric.”
