Despite Ozzy Osbourne’s four-year affair with his hairstylist, he and Sharon have managed to hold their marriage together for nearly 42 years. And marital counseling played no part in it, Sharon says.

Sharon says the couple once sought the assistance of a marriage counselor, but Ozzy stayed for only half of the session. “He lasted half an hour and threw a water bottle at the wall and walked out,” she says.

Sharon goes on to say it wasn’t counseling that saved her marriage; it was her realization that she couldn’t change her husband. “In my youth, being naive, I thought, I can change Ozzy,” she says. “He won’t drink when he’s with me. I’ll make him a nice home and nest and we’ll be happy ever after. But that’s not real life.”
