The Who’s Pete Townshend believes the band has one last tour left in them.

The guitarist told the New York Times “It feels to me like there’s one thing the Who can do, and that’s a final tour where we play every territory in the world and then crawl off to die.”

Townshend was also rather candid about his reasons for doing one last tour: “If I’m really honest, I’ve been touring for the money.”

The Who played a pair of charity shows just last week at Royal Albert Hall in London, benefiting Teenage Cancer Trust.
