Korn has been busy at work on their next studio album, and apparently, it will be heavy.

This news comes via guitarist Brian “Head” Welch, who gave an update on the next album’s status in a radio interview.

“I think it’s the best and heaviest Korn stuff in years,” Welch said. “And I think it’s gonna be raw and just kind of more basic, as far as sound and recording and everything. I don’t wanna give it all away, but we’re just very, very pleased with where we’re at right now.”

While you wait for the next Korn album, you can get tickets to see the band on their upcoming North American tour kicking off in September.
