Morello Plays With The Boss

Tom Morello played in the E Street Band on and off between 2008 and 2015 and on Sunday, he popped up with the band again.

Bruce Springsteen brought out Morello to play “American Skin (41 Shots)” for the first time since 2017, followed by 1995’s “The Ghost Of Tom Joad,” which the Boss hadn’t played with his band since 2016.

In an Instagram post Morello wrote, “@springsteen & the E Street Band absolutely blew the ever-loving house down at the Forum last night with a 3hr 14min tour de force of hope, joy, fury and reflection. It was an honor to rock ‘American Skin (41 Shots)’ & ‘The Ghost Of Tom Joad’ with Bruce and the band.”

It was the first time Morello shared the stage with Springsteen since 2016.
