More than 50 years after it was first released, Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours is experiencing a resurgence on no less than five Billboard charts.
The classic album has taken the number 46 spot on the Top Streaming Albums chart after being absent from the previous week’s list. It’s also returned to the Top 40 on the Billboard 200 after selling more than 18,000 copies over the previous week, an increase of 5 percent. The past week has also seen the album climb five spots – to number 25 – on the Top Album Sales chart and seven spots – to number 16 – on the Vinyl Albums chart. And finally, it’s entered the Top 10 on the Top Rock and Alternative Albums and Top Rock Albums charts, landing at numbers seven and six, respectively.
It’s unclear what prompted the increased interest in Rumours.
