Watch Green Day Cover Chuck Berry’s Johnny B. Goode

Once again my favorite band in the entire world, Green Day, proveed how awesome they are with a badass cover of “Jonny B. Goode.”

When news struck of the passing of the Father of Rock N’ Roll Chuck Berry this past Saturday, tributes came in from musicans, bands and fans from all over the world.

Green Day wanted to pay tribute as well but action is louder than words and during their concert in London, Ontario on Sunday, Green Day paid tribute to Chuck Berry by playing their upbeat version of Chuck Berry’s 1958 hit single “Johnny B. Goode.”

Marty McFly from Back To The Future has some competition now when it comes to covering the iconic song.

Watch the performance below.
