On not making her struggle with Bipolar public while she was in WWE:
“Nobody knew that I was struggling with Bipolar disorder. So in a way I was hiding in plain sight. I got to be everything I was afraid of becoming…To let that out on camera was liberating.”
On her role in the Divas Revolution:
“When I entered the business I think I was entering this canvas that was very much not ready for change…I think there were a lot of people who’s eyes got opened and minds got opened. All I really ever wanted was to kick that door down, and shatter that glass ceiling, and leave the business better than how I found it. It’s up to the next generation to keep that going, and make their own path. I think they are more than capable of that”
On the key to women’s wrestling having real equality:
“I hope that they A. are getting the recognition they deserve; the true to being equals is going to be getting the same pay as the men, so I hope that’s also happening.”
On The Rock’s phone call to CM Punk:
“He was walking Larry, our dog…I wonder what would have happened if he answered. I don’t know how safe that would have been. He kind of says whatever is on his mind.”
