U2 is celebrating the 30th anniversary of their historic “The Joshua Tree” album with a stadium tour. Levi’s Stadium will be the site on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. The Bone will be there too! Also, following the show tune into The Bone to hear a replay of “The Joshua Tree” LP.
The opening night for “The Joshua Tree 30th Anniversary Tour” was in Vancouver on May 12th and then on Sunday the band performed at Seattle’s Centurylink Field. The entire “The Joshua Tree” album is played during the set but first the band performs some other classics and there were also two encores.
While in Seattle, Bono invited Eddie Vedder to join the band on stage for the final song for “Mothers of the Disappeared” which is the final track on “The Joshua Tree” album. Opening act Mumford & Sons were also on stage with Eddie.
