Queens of the Stone Age Announce New Album and Preview New Song

Queens of the Stone Age have announced their next album, Villians, following up their 2013 Like Clockwork. It was produced by Mark Ronson, who’s worked with Adele, Amy Winehouse, and Duran Duran, to name a few. Their album trailer, directed by Liam Lynch, keeps with the theme of teasing posts.

Frontman Josh Homme called the album “uptempo,” like “a panther in the trees leaping out of the darkness.” He’s been busy scoring the film In the Fade (which debuted at Cannes Film Festival this year) and working with artists like Iggy Pop and Eagles of Death Metal.

Queens of the Stone Age will play Outside Lands on Saturday, August 12.
