And the week of Steven Seaweed rolls on…
If you’ve been living under a pile of rocks recently, you might not have heard that Steven Seaweed is hanging up his headphones and retiring after 44 years on California’s radio airwaves. He’s been making the rounds, including stopping by on Murph and Mac Thursday morning to talk about working in the same building as the KNBR radio hosts.

The Weedman also got a special visit from Bob Sargent, the Director of Broadcast Partnerships for the San Francisco 49ers, who presented Steven with a custom 49ers jersey. You can watch the whole exchange, as well as Sargent’s glowing eulogy of Seaweed at the video at the top of the post.
We have much more in store all week long from Steven Seaweed’s last week in radio, so make sure to check back in to KSAN.com.
