Brian Johnson crashes car during celebrity race

Baby Huey and Chasta discuss former AC/DC singer Brian Johnson who emerged unscathed after a roll-over car crash during a celebrity race at the Silverstone Classic in the U.K. over the weekend. According to Loudwire:

During the qualifying race, Johnson’s vintage car flipped completely, losing the windshield and landing upright on its wheels after one full rotation had completed. Onsite medical staff immediately came to Johnson’s aid and there have been no reports of serious injury to the rock legend.

Foo Fighters link up with unknown artist on new album

Dave Grohl and the Foo fighters are coming out with a new album called Concrete and Gold, Grohl has created a significant amount of buzz around the album saying that they worked with a secret artist on one track who will not be named. Billboard Magazine had this to say:

Grohl revealed Concrete and Gold will feature numerous guests, including “some that will really surprise you.” He continued,  “There’s one who is probably the biggest pop star in the world and — I’m not kidding — sings backup on one of the heaviest songs on the record, and we’re not telling anybody who it is.

Guns N Roses plays a tribute song

Also in the news, Guns N Roses bassist Duff Mckagan’s dog passed away recently and the band decided to play a special tribute to the pup during a concert in St. Louis. Consequenceofsound.net had more:

There were still a few noteworthy moments, however, such as the band’s tribute to Duff McKagan’s beloved dog Buckley. The King Charles Cavalier spaniel passed away earlier in the day, according to Axl Rose, who proceeded to dedicate the band’s performance of “Knockin’ on Heaven Dog” in Buckley’s honor.
