Matt Breida runs for 83-yard TD on 49ers’ first play from scrimmage


Well that’s one way to start arguably the 49ers’ biggest game ever at Levi’s Stadium.

On San Francisco’s first play from scrimmage, Matt Breida scampered, untouched, for an 83-yard touchdown in Monday’s marquee matchup vs. the Browns.

What’s more, on the Browns first play on the following drive, Baker Mayfield threw a questionable interception to Richard Sherman.

It sure looks like the 49ers want to make a statement to all those doubting their legitimacy.
