How much would you pay to hang out with Sammy Hagar at his birthday party? Typically, you’d have to add in a flight to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to join the Red Rocker at his annual bash, but not this year. A small bright light through the darkness of wildfires and COVID? Sammy and his team have figured out how to make his birthday celebration accessible to everyone, through Pay-Per-View. They’re setting up shop on Catalina Island in California, and will broadcast the party and concert, allowing fans from all over to virtually “attend.”
The event will air on Saturday, October 17th at 6pm PT, and costs $24.99 – $49.99, depending on HD or 4K. Tickets are on sale October 6th at nugs.tv. The concert will feature Sammy, his band The Circle, and other additional guests. Nobody can attend in person unless they are cruising around on their own boat.
