When you pay for a lavish vacation at a luxury resort in the Turks and Caicos Islands, what are your expectations? Maybe you’re hoping for a five-star restaurant. Or impeccable room service. Or maybe a vehicle valet, or wardrobe aficionado. Or a one-on-one concierge. Maybe a top-rated cleaning service. And the spa – certainly you’d expect a large menu with all kinds of services offered. Head to toe, anything you want. Right?

Well, maybe but it depends on your idea of a good time. If you ask Michael, the UK man who recently had a bad experience at a luxury hotel in Turks and Caicos, he would probably tell you to skip the trip. Initially, Michael and his wife were having a great time on their vacation. So great, that he decided to extend the trip, and fly home to bring back their son to join in the fun. When he returned, something seemed off. He explains what happened in his one-star TripAdvisor review that has now gone viral:

“My wife and I went to this resort. Beautiful resort. Water, sand pool and service amazing. We had such a good time that I (husband) decided to fly home to get our son Tom to enjoy it also. When I returned, things seemed awkward. My wife eventually told me that she went to a massage while I was picking up our son and the masseuse seduced her and spent the night with her. I am not blaming the resort for this, this is my wife’s fault. But just know that this is the thing that can happen at this resort.”

So there you have it. If you’re feeling insecure about your relationship, you may want to rethink your vacation. Check out the full story and TripAdvisor review here.
