California to Continue Allowing ‘To-Go Cocktails’ after Pandemic

While some COVID-inspired policies may remain in place after the pandemic is over, not all of them will necessarily be bad. Case-in-point: On Thursday, California Governor Gavin Newsom revealed restaurants will be permitted to continue delivering alcohol to residents’ homes after the pandemic is officially offer. “If you do takeout food, you’ll be able to get the takeout cocktails,” Newsom says, adding he believes the move is “good for our economic recovery.”
