San Francisco Giants announced a partnership with the Department of Public Health and COVID Command Center as a part of Major League Baseball’s ‘Vaccinate at the Plate’ campaign. The initiative is a national effort to get as many residents vaccinated against coronavirus as possible.
Starting Friday, June 25th, individuals who get a COVID-19 vaccine at one of San Francisco’s participating vacation sites will receive two complimentary tickets for a Giants game between July and September, first come, first served, while supplies last.
“San Francisco has led the nation in our effort to vaccinate our residents by making vaccines available, accessible, and convenient. While we’re proud to have been the first major city in the country to administer at least one dose to 80% of our eligible residents, we’re not going to slow down our efforts to reach each and every San Franciscan,” said Mayor London Breed. “I want to thank the Giants for partnering with us to provide yet another reason for everyone to step up to the plate and get vaccinated.”
If you’re in the 19% of San Franciscans who haven’t yet received a vaccine, here’s another reason to step up to the plate and get your shot! https://t.co/HmhYu4qUGt
