Green Day has released a music video for their new single “Pollyanna” and it’s packed full of amazing shots of people enjoying music again.
The group is currently resuming their star-studded tour with Weezer and Fallout Boy and threw together a collage of epic moments from what seems like the first major tour in 10 years.
“It’s the BEST feeling being out on the road w/ the Hella Mega Tour!!” stated the video in its description. “So great, in fact, that we made a vid for Pollyanna ft. some of the best times we’ve had so far.”
Pollyanna, originating from an overly optimistic protagonist in children’s novel, has become synonymous with unbridled optimism and a biased towards the positive. And in this day and age, we could all use a little optimism.
