Red Hot Chili Peppers Drummer Chad Smith: My Day With Charlie Watts

YouTube,@Drum Channel.

Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith is reminiscing about the time he spent a day with Charlie Watts. Smith once got to spend a day hanging out and talking music with the Rolling Stones drummer when they toured the DW drum company and did an interview for the Drum Channel.

Talking with Rolling Stone, Smith says that Watts enjoyed talking about jazz and his collection of drum sets. Of the drum set collection, Smith said, “He just wanted them to have a home and be taken care of. I found that really nice and sweet and kind.”
