Carlos Santana is working with Eric Clapton and Derek Trucks on a spaghetti western-inspired instrumental album

Carlos Santana is working on a spaghetti western-inspired album and will get some help from some pretty big names.

Santana told Guitar World that he, Eric Clapton, and Derek Trucks will be working on the instrumental 

“In a way, I’m picturing something like a soundtrack, perhaps in the vein of an Ennio Morricone score for an imaginary spaghetti western – The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, that kind of thing, you know?,” Santana explained.

As of right now, no further details have been given about this instrumental project.
