Dave Grohl is struggling with hearing loss. 

In a new interview, the Foo Fighters frontman said the problem got worse during the pandemic because people were wearing masks. 

He explained, “I’ve been reading lips for, like, 20 years. I’m a rock musician. I’m f****** deaf. I can’t hear what you’re saying.” 

Grohl says he can still pinpoint sounds in the studio during a recording session and can hear the “slightest little things” as his ears are still tuned in to “certain frequencies.”
