Tool is releasing an extended version of “Opiate” titled “Opiate2″ Friday to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

“Opiate2” is a reimagined and extended version of Tool’s 1992 single.

The limited-edition Blu-ray package also features a short film directed by Dominic Hailstone and a 48-page hardcover art book.

Tool is keeping very busy these days – the band also recently announced the arrival of “Fear Inoculum” on vinyl, with the Ultra Deluxe coming on April 8.

If someone has never heard Tool before, what is the first song you would play them?
