Wolfgang Van Halen Celebrates 45th Anniversary Of ‘Eruption’

Wolfgang Van Halen posted another tribute to his late father on Thursday – performing his dad’s iconic guitar solo “Eruption”.

The video – which Wolfgang says was recorded in 2015 – was posted on Thursday, Sept. 8th – 45 years to the day after the song was originally recorded by Eddie Van Halen in 1977.

Wolfgang recently opened some eyes by ripping off a couple of his dad’s solos during last weekend’s Taylor Hawkins tribute concert – but says a Van Halen reunion isn’t in the works.
