Genesis’ final show, Pantera’s reunion, Jack White’s onstage nuptials and The Who’s return to Cincinnati more than 40 years after 11 fans died in a stampede are among UltimateClassicRock’s “22 Wildest Onstage Moments of 2022.”
The website’s annual list – which isn’t in order of importance – also features Vince Neil’s August 2nd performance at The Grand Ole Opry; Tommy Lee’s mooning of the audience at a September 9th Motley Crue show; and the September 24th reunion of Nine Inch Nails’ original lineup.
This year’s list also includes a number of onstage mishaps, such as the October 17th Iron Maiden concert during which the band’s prop airplane failed to function; Chris and Rich Robinson’s violent reaction to a fan who jumped onto the stage at a November 22nd Black Crowes show; and a December 8th incident in which a Guns N’ Roses fan was injured by a microphone thrown by Axl rose.
