Steven Tyler Pulls out of Gala Due to Health Issues

Steven Tyler is no longer performing at an upcoming gala in which he was set to be honored.

The Aerosmith singer was originally listed as the celebrity honoree for the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Power of Love Gala, but links to the announcement have suddenly disappeared.

A statement from the Cleveland Clinic says that Tyler is no longer performing ‘as he continues to rest following some recent health concerns.’

The rocker was sued for sexual assault days earlier. Tyler was sued by Julia Holcomb, who claims that he sexually abused her, plied her with drugs and alcohol and even pressured her into getting an abortion, beginning when she was only 16 and he was 25.

“I want this action to expose an industry that protects celebrity offenders, to cleanse and hold accountable an industry that both exploited and allowed me to be exploited for years, along with so many other naïve and vulnerable kids and adults,” Holcomb said in a statement.

Do you think Tyler was dropped because of the suit or is he really sick? Has your opinion changed of Tyler lately?
