Metallica teased a new song on TikTok and fans are going crazy.

The band first shared a video of Lars Ulrich, drummer and co-founder of Metallica, performing solo with the caption “duet this”. Then, in a follow-up video, Robert Trujillo added his bass to the song. In a third video, Metallica co-founder James Hetfield joined his bandmates and added guitar to the tune.

Since the song in the video is unknown, fans now believe the series of videos is Metallica’s way of teasing a new song. TikTok users have been duetting the video and adding their unique spin on the song.

In November, Metallica announced a new song, new album AND an upcoming tour for 2023. Metallica has already released two singles from the album “72 Seasons” – “Lux Æterna” and “Streaming Suicide“.
