Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash is launching his own horror production company.
The rocker has unveiled the banner BerserkerGang, saying, “I’ve always been a huge horror fan, especially going back to the days when horror movies actually scared the hell out of you.”
“I want to get into the heart of the producing business so I can try and make movies that I’d like to see.”
One of Slash’s partners, Michael Paszt said, “Our goal is to develop projects with filmmakers and writers who are just as passionate about genre films as we are.”
“The aim of BerserkerGang will be quality over quantity. We will be selectively choosing projects that we collectively feel best represent the brand,” explained another partner, Andrew T. Hunt.
Slash and his partners have already teamed up on the flick ‘The Breach’, which is due out later this year but the first movie under the new company will be announced at Cannes Film Festival in May.
