Metallica is successful for many reasons, but here’s one reason that may surprise you.

In a new interview, drummer Lars Ulrich said, “The days of going off your rocker all night and watching the sun rise are somewhat behind us.”

He says now, he has swapped lager and vodka for tea explaining, “There’s a teapot and a cup right in front of me, within arm’s reach. I pretty much live on Earl Grey tea, with a little hint of vanilla in this particular blend. Not only is it yummy but it keeps me fired up. I drive everybody around me nuts with my crazy energy.”

In March, Metallica released the official music video for “72 Seasons” from their upcoming album “72 Seasons”. The band’s 12th studio album will be available on April 14th, 2023.

Starting the celebrations early, the band will hold a ‘worldwide listening party‘ in movie theaters on April 13th, one day before the album’s release. The feature-length event will include the entire 72 Seasons album, along with “epic new videos” and special intros from the band themselves.
