Metallica Kicks Off “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Residency


Metallica performed on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Monday, kicking off a four-night residency.

During the interview, Kimmel announced that Metallica will play Master of Puppets “in its entirety” on Wednesday, explaining, “Nightline will not be seen on Wednesday.”

The band performed Lux Æterna from their upcoming album 72 Seasons on Monday night. Metallica will act as the musical guest up to the night of April 13. 72 Seasons will be released the following day. 

The band also joined Kimmel for an interview and discussed younger generations’ interest in their music.
