Filter’s Richard Patrick has unveiled the title of the band’s upcoming album – in fact, he’s unveiled *two* album titles. In a recent interview, Patrick said the new record would be titled The Algorithm.

He also revealed the album’s working title, They Got Us Right Where They Want Us, At Each Other’s Throats.

So why did Patrick decide to change the title?  “The other title was way too long. And I don’t wanna be as divisive as I’ve been in the past.”

The Algorithm is expected to release sometime later this year.
