Metallica Shares New Live Video From Sweden Show

Metallica has shared a new live video from their ongoing M72 World Tour.

The video is from the band’s June 16 performance in Gothenburg, Sweden and features Metallica playing “The Day That Never Comes” off of 2008’s Death Magnetic.

Metallica’s M72 World Tour has the band performing two shows per city on tour. Each show features a completely different playlist with no repeating song on each night.

Metallica kicks off the 2023 North American leg of their M72 World Tour on August 4th in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Earlier this week, Metallica’s offspring announced a 2023 tour. Bastardane, the band that features Castor Hetfield – the son of Metallica frontman James Hetfield, and Ottto, the band that features  Tye Trujillo – the son of bassist Robert Trujillo, are teaming up for a North American tour.

“We love music and we love the boys in Ottto,” says Bastardane drummer Castor Hetfield. “Warning: Mayhem, insanity, and ascension may occur.”

The band will perform in Sacramento, California at Goldfield Trading Post on August 30th.
