Stevie Nicks has announced eight new tour dates for 2024.
The added shows will run starting on February 10th in Atlantic City and wrap on March 9th in Arlington. In between, Nicks will make stops in the following cities: Belmont Park, NY; Greenville, SC; Hollywood, FL; New Orleans; Omaha, NE; and North Little Rock, AR.
Bay Area fans can see Nicks perform at the Chase Center in San Francisco on December 15, 2023. Tickets for the San Francisco show are on sale here.
Tickets for the added shows will go on sale to the general public on Friday, September 29 at 10 a.m. local time.
Although her set list is not certain yet, fans have their preferred songs and so does Nicks. Discussing songs that mean the most to her, Nicks said her most personal song didn’t come until just eight years ago.
While Stevie Nicks has enjoyed a career that’s spanned five decades, “Belle Fleur” stands out. The song appears on the 2014 album 24 Karat Gold and analyzes the difficulties of balancing a love life with the jet-set lifestyle that comes with being a rock star – a subject Nicks says she knows all too well.
“The lyric, ‘When you come to the door of the long black car’ – that’s the limousine that’s coming to take you away,” she says. “Then your boyfriend is standing on the porch waving at you, like, ‘When are you going to be back?’ And you’re like, ‘I don’t know, maybe three months?’ But then we would add shows to a tour and I could end up not being back for six months. It was difficult for the men in my life. I lived that song so many times.”
