Megadeth is officially parting ways with guitarist Kiko Loureiro.
Loureiro announced Sunday that both sides “agreed that it is the right move to extend my absence.”
Louriero joined Megadeth in 2015 but sat out the band’s current tour for ‘family reasons’.
He was replaced by Teemu Mantysaari.
