Black Sabbath’s fifth studio album ‘Sabbath Bloody Sabbath’ was released on Dec. 1, 1973.
The album is considered the iconic band’s last great album, and it’s a sentiment held by Ozzy Osbourne.
He wrote in his 2009 memoir ‘I Am Ozzy,’ “[It was] our last truly great album, I think. And with the music we’d managed to strike just the right balance between our old heaviness and our new, ‘experimental’ side.”
