Rickey Medlocke Releases Solo Single For A Cause

Longtime Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist Rickey Medlocke is sharing a new a solo single to raise awareness of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women.

Portions of the money raised by sales of ‘Never Run Out Of Road’ will be donated to the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center, which campaigns to end the trafficking of Native American women.

Medlocke explained, “I want to give back to my native community through “Never Run Out Of Road,” and I want to educate others on the crisis and empower people to get involved.”

Medlocke is of Lakota Sioux and Cherokee ancestry, and was inducted into the Native American Music Hall of Fame in 2008.
