Pink Floyd CD Returned To Library After 35 Years

YouTube, @

A Maryland library can finally stop wishing for the return of a long-lost Pink Floyd album.

A CD of the band’s 1975 classic Wish You Were Here was returned to the Laurel Branch Library in Prince George’s County earlier this month – 35 years after it was checked out in 1989.

The CD had been gone so long it wasn’t even in the library’s digital system.

Fortunately, no one’s going to have to pay 35 years’ worth of overdue fees – the library went ‘fine free’ in 2020.
